My Story
I grew up in the outdoors, every chance I got. My dad took me hunting at the age of 6, and I've never looked back. As my love for the outdoors grew, and also met with my competitive nature in shotgun shooting sports, a passion was born: DUCK HUNTING. I chased ducks in the marsh, by boat, on foot, through kayak, any way I could, and as I continued my passion for chasing ducks, I found duck dogs. Looking for a job in college, I began working for Steve Biggers, at Rocky Creek Retrievers. I was a "Bird Boy". You name it, that was my job. Throwing bumpers, cleaning kennels, feeding dogs, but most of all, "Swamping" on the weekends as Steve guided clients. There I started learning the art of hunting ducks on the Texas Rice Prairie. The rest is history. I got a dog, learned to train her from start to finish, and shortly after college I began to guide every chance I could!
